Important: Water Conservation Notice

Due to the hot and humid weather, our water source level is being monitored more frequently. With little recent rainfall and none expected in the foreseeable future, we are asking all residents to conserve water.

Effective immediately, Sipekne’katik is implementing the following water restrictions. Residents are asked to:

• Limit lawn watering with sprinklers to one day per week.

• Restrict watering of trees, shrubs, and vegetable gardens.

• Refrain from washing outdoor surfaces such as driveways, sidewalks, decks, and vehicles.

• Refrain from filling swimming pools with water from the source (this includes the Sipekne’katik Volunteer Fire Department).

We appreciate your cooperation in helping to preserve our water supply during this time.
