Community Notice: Upcoming Closure

Please be advised that the Sipekne'katik administrative buildings will be closed from Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 12PM until Friday, August 21st, 2026, for assistance with the 2026 Nova Scotia Mi'kmaw Summer Games.

Closing Wednesday, Aug 19th at Noon (12 PM): Band Offices 1 and 2, Daycare, Fisheries, and Consultation.

Remaining OPEN & Operating: The Health Centre, O&M, Gas Station, Gaming, and out-of-community operations will remain open.

Social Assistance cheques will be available from 1:00 PM on Tuesday, August 18, until noon on Wednesday, August 19th, 2026.
