Update: Urban, Rural, and Northern Indigenous Housing Strategy Grant

We want to provide an important update regarding the Urban, Rural, and Northern Indigenous Housing Strategy Grant that was shared in November 2025.

After reviewing all applications received, it was clear that the need was great for everyone who reached out. To ensure support was shared fairly, leadership has decided to issue funding to every eligible Head of Household who applied.

Each of these 140 applicants will receive $1,500 toward housing costs outside of the community.

Finance will be issuing these payments by the end of next week. We are grateful to be able to support all of our members who applied for this intake, and thank you for your patience as we processed these requests.
