Important Update: New Housing Work Order Process!
We're excited to share an important update regarding how you submit housing work order requests. We've made some adjustments to make it more efficient and convenient for our community members!
Starting today, Wednesday, July 16th, 2025, you'll have several easy options to submit your work orders:
Pick Up a Paper Form: Return a completed Work Order form to the Front Desk at Sipekne’katik Administrative Building or the Sipekne’katik Band Office. Paper copies are available for pick up at either building.
Download & Print: Find the PDF form on our website. Fill it out and return it to Sipekne’katik Administrative Building or the Sipekne’katik Band Office. https://www.sipeknekatik.ca/housing
Online JotForm: Complete your request directly online using our new JotForm, which goes directly to the Housing Department email! https://form.jotform.com/251804494771261
Email Us: Scan or take a clear photo of your completed paper form and email it to housingdept@sipeknekatik.ca
For Band Owned Homes: Community members seeking work orders for band-owned homes can call the Housing Dept. Line at 902.236.3025. An employee will take your request and complete the work order form on your behalf.
What about existing work orders?
If you have an ongoing work order that has already been submitted, there's no need to resubmit it. Our team is actively working through all existing requests in the order they were received. We appreciate your patience as we continue to address these. If you have questions about the status of a previously submitted work order, please call the Housing Department.
