Saqmaw Park & Cultural Trail: Access Restrictions

Due to the province-wide restrictions on travel and activities in wooded areas, access to Saqmaw Park and the Cultural Trail is now restricted. This is a direct result of the high risk of wildfires from continued hot and dry conditions.

Effective immediately, please note the following:

Hiking, camping, fishing, and the use of vehicles in the woods are not permitted.

Trail systems, including the Cultural Trail, are off-limits.

Camping is only allowed in designated campgrounds.

These measures are in place to keep our community safe. We appreciate your cooperation.
