Treaty Day 2026!

Get ready to celebrate Treaty Day on Thursday, October 1st, 2026! We have a fully packed schedule of events, entertainment, and competitions for the whole community.

Main Events: Start the day with a Comfort Fire & Smudge at 9:00 AM, enjoy live entertainment from Glooscap Sons & Eastern Eagle'jij, and don't miss the Lobster Giveaway starting at 2:30 PM (Elders only from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by other community members at 3:00 PM). End the night with our Karaoke Contest from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM!

Competitions: Show off your skills in the Right Deadly Earring Contest, Waltes Tournament, Tea Boiling, Youth Bow & Arrow, Moose Call, and Wood Piling competitions throughout the afternoon.

Ongoing Fun: Stop by for all-day Community Swag Giveaways, Family Fun Day from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, and Traditional Cooking with Chief Glasgow from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM!

Washer Toss: Keep the competitive spirit going into the weekend with our Treaty Day Washer Toss Tournament on Saturday, October 3rd (Women's & Men's Singles) and Sunday, October 4th (Mixed Doubles).
