Indigenous Services Canada will be coming to help community members with their Secure Certificate of Indian Status (SCIS). Photos will be taken on-site, and this service is being provided completely free of charge!

What you need to bring:
Valid Identification: A government-issued ID that includes your name, date of birth, photo, and signature. It must not have expired. (Multiple pieces of ID can be used together if needed).
Guarantor Declaration: If required for your application.
Guardianship/Custody Documents: Legal documents if applying for a child under your care.
For Birth Registration: Parents named on the birth certificate must be present and bring the original long-form birth certificate and their valid ID.
