Community Notice from Sipekne’katik EMO Committee

From Sipekne'katik EMO Committee

A special weather statement has been issued by Environment & Climate Change Canada. Our province faces possible early-spring snowfall, mixed precipitation, high winds, and low temperatures. This system is currently expected to begin on Thursday and could carry into the weekend.

The snow is expected to be very wet and heavy, mixed precipitation of this nature can make for dangerous driving conditions and may lead to power outages.

As always, weather remains unpredictable, and changes may occur. Please be aware that the Sipekne’katik EMO Committee is monitoring this system and will release more information and updates as needed.
